I think I can say without fear of contradiction that there are a tremendous development opportunities in Baja California!
The most striking thing to me so far is the expanse of untouched land. Land be the ocean, land by the Sea of Cortez, land on the plains, and land in the mountains.
Think about it. The Baja peninsula is actually made up of two Mexican states. Baja California and Baja California South. Together they have just over 4 million people living in 56,000+ square miles. 70% of the population resides in two border cities — Tijuana and Mexicali. If the Baja states were a state in the USA they would be the 25th biggest state in population and land area.
Baja has 10% of California’s population in one third the land area.
